Manchester United Search for a Central Defensive Midfielder

As the Premier League has started and the transfer window is about to shut down, Manchester United is considering a bid for a central defensive midfielder. The club has been monitoring and analysing the performance of a host of players for a few months and accelerated the process after the club was disappointed by the match played with Southampton last weekend.

Man United has closely analysed the game of Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga and showed their interest. As per the reports, Camavinga played his last game with the Ligue 1 club and is considering a move to Man United even before the end of the contract with Rennes. He was capped three times by France and will be available on a free transfer in 2022. Romano, an Italian journalist, said that the player is in high demand as not only Man Utd but PSG are showing their interest in transferring him to their club.

Declan Rice seems to be the ideal choice of Man Utd for the position of central defensive midfielder role.
