Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Will he stay or leave before the summer transfer window closes down?

As per reports, we might notice the dramatic and exciting finish to the closure of the summer transfer window before the excitement of the Premier League season. Arsenal, the club that can't handle its present position in the League, may encounter one more shock.

 

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signed a deal for three year’s worth £350,000 per week with Arsenal before eleven months. That means a pay rise of £150,000 per week for Gabon International, which is supposed to continue even after the 34th birthday of the player. This deal which made Aubameyang the highest-paid player in the Premier League might soon be reverted or ended.

 

In the Premier League 2019/20 season, Aubameyang scored 22 goals and shared the Golden Boot award with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah. Arsenal was highly excited and wanted to sign a deal with him. However, after his last term's disappointing performance, scoring a mere ten goals, Arsenal has started searching for the club's forward.

 

This season Gunners delivered an unsatisfactory performance and were beaten 2-0 by the other side. Aubameyang's illness and absence in matches have been advocated as one of the reasons for the loss. Things might worsen for Aubameyang and Arsenal as the upcoming matches are scheduled with Chelsea and Manchester United.

 

Mikel Arteta, the coach of the Arsenal club, is still having a ray of hope in Aubameyang and is ready to coach again one of the most significant players of the club. There are worries that other highly paid players might face the coach's wrath and leave the club. After the exit of Ozil, Arsenal might notice history might repeat itself.

 

Aubameyang, the Gabonese international striker, might have had disappointing seasons. Still, his hat-trick scored in the first start this season in the 6-0 whipping of Championship side West Brom in the League Cup is unforgettable. No one knows where the ball will roll before the shutdown of the transfer window this season.
